Ericsson Seals the Deal with Batelco to bring 5G in Bahrain

Batelco, one of the leading digital solutions providers in Bahrain, names Ericsson to commercially deploy 5G across Bahrain. The partnership will see Ericsson’s new enhanced 5G platform, with portfolio  additions, such as 5G New Radio (NR), mobile transport, and core – be implemented in Batelco’s network.

The 5G will bring Bahrain huge speed and low-latency changes such as streaming, downloading, gaming, infotainment, and interactivity into use and in addition, this deal will help Batelco help open-up opportunities in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 4.0 to the enterprises and industries in Bahrain.
