Cityneon's Executive Chairman & Group CEO Ron Tan won Executive of the Year at Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Awards 2018

Ron Tan, Executive Chairman & Group Executive Officer, Cityneon has been named as the Executive of the Year – Media & Entertainment, 2018. He was awarded at the 4^th Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Awards held at Conrad Centennial on 22^nd November, 2018 for his leadership and business initiatives that brought incredible business gains to Cityneon.

The award was presented right after the opening weekend of Jurassic World: The Exhibition in Madrid, Spain. Approximately 1.5 million people visited the exhibition since its world premiere at Victoria Museum in Melbourne, Australia in 2016. Judging panel included, reputed persons namely, David Chew (Executive Director Risk Advisory, Deloitte - Southeast Asia), Lim Wei Wei (Partner & Practice Leader - Governance & Risk, Baker Tilly TFW), Pardeep Singh Khosa (Director, Dispute Resolution, Drew & Napier), Yang Eu Jin (Partner & Co-Head - Capital Markets Practice, RHTLaw Taylor Wessing) and Henry Tan (Managing Director, NEXIA TS). Previous winners of the Executive of the Year award include Raman Singh (Mundipharma), Chatri Sityodtong (ONE Championship), Dr. Andy Adhiwana (Auric Pacific Group) and Allen Law (Park Hotel Group).

Speaking after winning the award, Ron Tan, says, “This award is not a demonstration of personal achievement. I am merely receiving this on behalf of all our loyal and faithful shareholders in Cityneon; and this will not be possible either without the strong support from and partnerships with all the major international studios executives -- Disney, Marvel, Hasbro, Universal and Lionsgate -- in US and in different parts of the world; and the staunch support of our clients, partners, suppliers and vendors worldwide. And most importantly, this award is a fitting testament of the hard work put in all these years by each and every of the 400 or so employees of Cityneon in Singapore, Middle East, United States and offices in various parts of the world, to continue to transform the company into one that many will admire and all will be proud to be part of”.
