King Khan ,one of the reigning superstars of  Bollywood with many a hit to his name launched his production house Red Chillies in 2002. It set up a new age Special Effects studio, VFX on par with Hollywood expertise and has also produced many films. It also boasts of many successful TV shows and ad campaigns. Shah Rukh forayed into the world of cricket by buying the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. The IPL format has been hugely successful in India and the Kolkata Knight Riders team has been a resounding success for Shah Rukh Khan. They lifted the 2012 IPL championship trophy.
