Airtel Launches Airtel Secure to Protect its Business Customers from Cyberattacks
Telco major, Bharti Airtel announces the launch of a set of cybersecurity solution-'Airtel Secure' for business customers. As part of the launch, the company is also intending to invest about 100 crore in a Security Intelligence Centre in the National Capital Region.
This facility is expected to provide its tracking services to all businesses round the clock. Further, the had issued a statement stating that as the businesses are making a shift to cloud and digital platforms to serve customers better, they are also paving the way for higher incidents of sophisticated cyber-attacks. However, the origin of such attacks remains unknown and hinders the operations.

The company also points out that India is not just the second largest internet market globally, but holds the fifth position in terms of higher cyber-attacks and frauds. It has even reported that the Indian cybersecurity market is soon anticipated to cross $13 billion by 2025. 
This cutting-edge security solution is brought to the market in collaboration with Cisco and this security solution is would secure the endpoints, networks, applications, and the cloud. Cisco believes that the association with Airtel would aid in providing access to advanced monitoring, analysis, and investigation of any malicious act.  
Chuck Robbins, President and CEO, Cisco states "Airtel will now be able to help customers streamline operations with integrated threat and security management through Cisco's security portfolio." He further adds, “Delivered as managed security services (MSS), these offerings will benefit Airtel's enterprise as well as small business customers, allowing customers to reduce their technology-capex investment and maximize efficiency.” 
Furthermore, Airtel has also announced a partnership with Radware. This partnership would be the first global data scrubbing center in India that would be set up to ensure threats to data and information been attacked and eliminated throughout the country.
