ALS Inks Pact With Singamas For Cold Chain Logistics


NEWDELHI: Apollo LogiSolutions today said it has inked pact with Singamas, subsidiary of Pacific International Lines, to start cold chain logistics in India. 

"This MoU aims to provide cold chain logistics solutions, temperature controlled space/warehouses and temperature controlled transportation and distribution services," Apollo Logisolutions said in a statement.

Last year, Apollo LogiSolutions (ALS) had signed two MoUs with Pacific International Lines (PIL) Group of companies. 

The first MoUs between ALS and PIL facilitates mutual cooperation in container freight stations(CFS) & allied services, while the second pact between ALS and Singamas was for jointly pursuing transportation of specialised liquids in India. 

"This third MoU for Cold chain logistics further underlines the long term relationship both groups enjoy together," the company said. 

"ALS is one of the few organised logistics players in India which assures quality and service delivery to its partners...Joining hands with PIL & Singamas will ensure that we bring a value proposition to our customers like none other," ALS MD Raaja Kanwar said. 

"Tying up with ALS, a comprehensive logistics solutions provider, can enhance our interests in an ever growing market with an untapped potential like India... This partnership will help us to diversify and build on our core business of shipping lines and other allied logistics services," PIL MD Teo Siong Seng said.
