For every household, cleaning the dryer vent is a headache. It is okay, for those who clean it every day since we all know the amount of lint that builds up in the dryer vent after just one use.

But San Antonio's Alisa LeSueur wants people to also consider how much it collects inside the duct pipe that runs from the laundry room to a home's outside over the entire year. 

Already known as the dryer vent lady, LeSueur came forward with a fresh business idea and buil a business of cleaning out those hard-to-reach pipes in an effort to minimize the risk of fire and increase the dryer's efficiency, thus saving the homeowner money. 

LeSueur, an authorized dryer exhaust technician with more than 13 years of experience, uses a spinning brush and rod system to scrape off as much lint as possible from the pipe. She calls herself as the "chimney sweep for your clothes dryer."

She lists out the various signs warning the users that the pipe needs to be cleaned, including clothes taking longer than 30 minutes to dry, the dryer getting too hot, excessive lint in the laundry room, the heating element cutting off intermittently or the laundry room becoming overly hot or humid. 

Her service costs range from $78 to more than $145, depending on how big the house is and on the vent's accessibility there.
