1. Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey is an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, and producer. Popular for her multi award winning talk show "The Oprah Winfrey Show", she is one of the richest African of the 20th century. Facing many hurdles since childhood Winfrey sets a perfect example for the “rags to riches story”.

Winfrey's primary residence is a 42-acre California abode that boasts 23,000 square feet of living space and is valued at $100 million. She is among the greatest black philanthropist in American history and once was the worlds only black billionaire. She is also considered as one of the most influential media activists.

2. Dustin Moskovitz

Dustin Moskovitz Co-Founded Facebook with Mark Zuckerberg and holds 7.6 percent shares in the company which also fetched him the title of being a billionaire. Dustin left Facebook in 2008 and formed his own company Asana along with Justin Rosenstein. Forbes ranked Dustin as the world’s youngest self-made billionaire in 2011. The new company grabbed attention for giving its engineers $10,000 to spend on improving the equipment at their desks. Dustin was the major angel investor in the mobile photo-sharing site Path.
