20 Indian Companies that are Most Global


Bangalore: Companies all over the world are trying to internationalize and so are the Indian companies. In order to determine the degree of internationalization the companies need to fulfill three transnational index measures and they are, percentage of international assets, international revenues and foreign employees. In a survey released by Raveendra Chittoor, Assistant Professor of Strategy, Indian School of Business in Mumbai lists 20 Indian companies that are most Global.

Tata Steel limited

It is a multinational steel company which is the tenth largest steel producing company in the world. In India it ranks second on the largest and most profitable private companies in 2011. The revenue generated by the company is $26.06 billion annually. Its total assets are around $30.38 billion and its foreign assets are $14, 274 million.

Bharti Airtel Limited

This company is a telecommunication company which operates in 20 countries in the world and is the third largest telecom operator in the world. In India it is the largest cellular service provider with almost 181 million subscribers. The yearly revenue generated by the company is $11.89 billion and the total assets are $20.11 billion. The foreign assets of the company are $13, 665 million.
