Sunil Mittal
The Chairman and Group CEO of Bharati Enterprises, Sunil Mittal was named the Philanthropist of the Year by the Asian Awards 2010 for his contribution through the Bharti Foundation in area of education for disadvantaged children. The Bharati Foundation Schools provide education to about 30,000 children in states like Punjab, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. It also promotes employment by hiring local people as teachers and staff in schools.
