7. Skittles: Skittles is a well know brand producing entertaining advertisements. In 2008, it came up with its new idea, where a man who turned everything that he touched into skittles. For some it was a funny ad where as some it was a bad altercation.

8. Microsoft: Microsoft also had to face controversies with it commercial ads which depicted a women’s aggressive nature after looking at her husband’s browsing history on his computer. This ad was basically focused to promote the release of its new Internet Explorer version 8 web browsers.

9. Gap: The release of the new logo for Gap had to be replaced by the old ones on the account of controversies or criticism from the public. Gap decided to call public to submit their design ideas which was more awful decision as it seemed to be like an attempt to produce a new logo for free.

Design companies complained the whole thing to be faked to produce a situation of gathering crowd without costing to the company.

10. DIVX: DIVX is a brand of video products developed by DivX, LLC in the late 90’s. It is notable for its ability to compress videos into small size with high visual quality. Unfortunately, it had to face major criticism because of its short comings.

 One of the major drawbacks of DIVX system is it needs to be connected with the internet, which was like blocking the phone connectivity at those times.
