Ozzie has such sharp business insight and wisdom that he is fondly called – ‘Microsoft’s second visionary after Bill Gates.’ Being compared to a tech titan like Gates is an honour indeed. Gates had hand-picked Ozzie as the next visionary at Microsoft in 2006. Ozzie takes it in his stride to be still associated with Microsoft. Ozzie is renowned by his immense contribution to Lotus Notes e-mail software during the 1980s. This software was instrumental in Microsoft's insistent push into cloud computing. He is now running his own company – Cocomo. Ozzie has also publicized the term ‘post PC world’ and how we all are living in it.
