BANGALORE: India is considered as a country with a relatively large Gross Domestic Product and some well-established economic inequalities historically. Its economy seems to have been undergoing a process of globalization, with emergence of world-scale Indian businesses.

And with India making huge progress in many of the fields these days, it also owns some of the wide-ranging benefits of an international economy too. From the recent survey done by Forbes for the first time, the 100 richest tycoons in India are all billionaires which include Mukesh Ambani topping the league for the eighth consecutive year.  1. Mukesh Ambani

Mukesh Ambani has topped this list by being India's richest person for consecutively 8 years in a row with a total net worth of $23.6 billion.  He has made his fortune as managing director, shareholder and Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited. RIL is a holding company that deals with the oil and gas sectors, refining and petrochemicals.

Nation’s one of the biggest natural gas fields is also owned by him. In addition to that recently the billionaire is working on a project to build India’s first 4G wireless network in 700 cities. Apart from all these, he also owns the Mumbai Indians professional cricket team and is one of the richest sports owners in the world.
