Bangalore: Many of the nations have been identified as the less resilient or more exposed to global risks. According to the Global Risks Atlas 2012 findings, released by a risk analysis firm, Maplecroft, the BRIC nations are also no longer able to withstand the risks. Due to the poor governance and lack of social elasticity in the BRIC nations have reduced their capacity to fight against the worst circumstances. Amongst all the other countries, India ranks 19th in the list of world’s nations that least flexible.

It is considered to be the least resilient and most exposed to global risks. Somali Republic since the outbreak of the Somali Civil War in 1991 had no central government control in most of its territory’s. Transitional Federal of Africa controls a small part of the country. It is the poorest and the most violent states in the world. Though the northwestern part of the country has self- declared government and is relatively stable. It considers itself as autonomous but still it’s a part of Somalia. Al-Shabaab who is an Islamist controls a huge part of the south Somalia.  The Transitional Federal Government controls only a few parts and has re-estabilished some national institutions like the Military of Somalia. Somalia has maintained an informal economy due to the two decades of war and lack of government.
