Recent study of ‘the most successful and influential companies in India’; conducted by Mr. Neilsen from London-based consultancy, TLG Partners have reveled top ten successful and influential companies in the India. Read on to know which companies made it to the list.

1.Tata Group

Tata group has been listed as the top most successful and influential companies in India. It was found in 1868 by Jamsetji Tata as a trading company. Today, Tata group have made their contributions in different sectors, some of them are Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Tata Power, Tata Chemicals, Tata Global Beverages, Tata Teleservices, Titan Industries, Tata Communications and Taj Hotels.

As of 2012 Tata group’s net profit was $6.23 billion and owns assets of $77.7 billion and gets revenue of more than 58 percent from outside India. Cyrus Pallonji Mistry took over as the chairman in 2012 of Tata group after Ratan Tata.
