10 Lowest Paid CEOs In India

His stock options were valued at a bit over 15 lakh rupees. He has served as the managing director of the company for about two years now and is still taking home an annual salary of less than 50 lakhs.

Shyam Srinivasan: He has been the MD and CEO of Federal Bank for the last four years, having over 20 years of banking expertise. An alumnus from IIM Calcutta, Srinivasan has been instrumental in taking the company forward from its small petite state to one of the leading banks in the world.

Shyam features on this list of least paid CEOs because of his annual compensation that stands at 1.01 Crores. Hailing from a banking business it is of a surprise to be drawing this minimal rated salary but none the less, there sure is more remuneration in long term bonds.

Ajoy Misra: He was appointed the new MD of TATA Global Beverages after Harish Bhat stepped down from the post earlier this year. Running a company that is under the Conglomerate Umbrella of a huge Global Corporation like TATA, one would expect the salary of an MD to have more zeros than Misra’s annual Compensation that stands only at 1.8 crores.

He ranks among the least paid CEOs or MDs as the amount of money he makes add up to the monthly income of some of the highest paid CEOs in the industry.
