His compensation as of 2012 was $31.17 million, a $14.32 million more than the CEO, John Frank’s total earning of $16.85 million.

Hamilton Evan James or Tony is a co-founder and director of Swift River Investments and is also the President and Chief Operations officer of the Blackstone Group. He holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and was a John Harvard Scholar. The CEO of The Blackstone Group has been surpassed by Hamilton James in terms of compensation as the latter earned around $33.27 million in 2012 against $8.41 million of the CEO. The difference in earnings was around $24.86 million.

Although Bob Mansfield took retirement from Apple on 28 June, 2012, the company announced on August 27, 2012 that he still will be associated with Apple and work on ‘future projects’ and will report to Tim Cook. Mansfield started working with Apple since 1999 as senior vice president of Mac Hardware Engineering. His compensation during 2012 was $85.54 million which was $81.37 million more than the compensation of the CEO, Tim Cook.
