Establishment: 1976 Affiliation: Kannur University The LBS Centre was started by Government of Kerala as an autonomous body with the main objective that the Centre would act as a link between the industries and technical institutions so as to benefit the society through their mutual interactions. Department of MCA was started in the year 2000 and in the same year itself department has started offering 3 year degree programme in MCA with an intake of 30. The major strength of the department is highly qualified and experienced faculty with specialization in main areas of computer science and engineering and information technology.
