The SLV is a registered voluntary social action group working for empowerment of women and girls through education since 1952. Within a short period of eight years, the college has emerged as one of the premier engineering colleges in the state. Department of Computer Applications was started in the year 2006 with an annual intake of 60 students. The depatment offers a 3 years masters programe in Computer Applications.
