Admission Procedure:
Admissions conform to the rules and regulations laid down by the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT). Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela has been established by an Act of the Assembly, Government of Orissa in June 2002. All Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and most of the colleges offering MCA and MBA degree programmes are either constituent or affiliated colleges of this University. A candidate with valid JEE-2011 rank card can opt for admission against State quota seats (75 percent of sanctioned strength) during counseling. Objective
1. The objective of T & P cell is to achieve 100% placement to all the passing out students as per the policy @ of ONE PERSON ONE JOB first. A candidate selected for one job is further restricted to another recruitment till everybody get an opportunity.
2. Coaching & helping the students to improve their skills in resume writing communication, written tests, group discussion, technical and personal interviews.
3. Organizing industrial visits, training programmers and conducting guest lecturers by distinguished technocrats and eminent industry personalities for better industrial interface.
The Techno School has achieved a very good track record in its successful completion of 5th year. The students of The Techno School have already appeared their on/off campus drives in the companies like Satyam, L&T Infotech, Birlasoft, Subex world, Kite Communication, Smadurk Infotech Pvt. Ltd. About eighty(80%) percentage of the students have already received their offer letters on their 6th semester. The most outstanding achievement of the institute is one of the students of Computer Science Department has received an offer latter for package of Rupees six lakhs from ICICI Prudential life insurance during his 4th semester. The placement activities for 2010 batch is still open and the cell is in contact of another ten(10) MNC’s and eight(8) nearby core industries to give 100% placement.
