US delegation of undergraduate students visited MUJ

A US delegation of undergraduate students under International experience program led by Dr. Nitika Parmar (Associate Professor: Biology), Director, MS Biotechnology and Bioinformatics degree program, California State University, USA, visited the Biosciences department, Manipal University, Jaipur on 16th January, 2017. 

Department of Biosciences organized a meeting of all the faculties and students with US delegation. Dean, Faculty of Science, Prof. G.C. Tikkiwal welcomed the delegates and Dr. M. M. Sharma, head, Biosciences department, gave a brief presentation about Manipal Univerity Jaipur and departmental programmes. All the faculties of the department also interacted with delegation and presented their research work. Students were informed about laboratory usage of different equipments and were shown different research facilities of the department and student laboratories as well as other university facilities. Dr. Parmar appreciated the facilities of the department and of the University. Delegation also met with Pro-President Prof. Kumkum Garg and hoped for future collaborations and student/faculty exchange visits.
