About GRCCM, Bangalore :-
Government RC College of Commerce & Management, Bangalore was established in 1948. It started off as an intermediate college and grew into a degree college in 1952. This the first commerce college run by the Government of Karnataka. The college offers B.Com., BBM, M.Com and MBA courses. It is the only Government institution in the entire state of Karnataka to offer an MBA program.
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited Government R C College of Commerce and Management with B++ grade in 2003.

Placement Cell :-
The Placement Cell intends to equip students with the necessary skills and that are highly required for the process of employment and performing goal oriented tasks. The Skill Development Programme will not only focus on Specialised Lectures on the areas of concern, but also make room for practical sessions and training. It will be spread out althrough the four semesters in a structured manner. It includes practical Sessions on Presentation, Writing Skills, Body Language, Group Discussion, Role Play and Mock-Interview. About twenty five students of first batch of MBA have been placed in various positions at ICICI Bank, Median Direct Finance Ltd.(Associate of Standard Charted Bank), Infosyis and WIPRO.
Admission Procedure
The admission for B.Com and BBM courses is done by the college according to the roster system complying with the University rules and regulations. The Bangalore University will select the students for M.Com course through counseling and the admission to MBA course is through PGCET by VTU.
