Excel Business School, Namakkal comes under Excel Educational Institutions which is promoted by SRET – Sri Rengaswamy Educational Trust. Excel Business School offers two Postgraduate Degrees Programmes which are recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Coimbatore.
Prof. Dr. A. K. Natesan is the founder and Hon.Chairman of SRET. He is an MBA from NIT, Trichy and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in financial management from PSG College of Arts & Science. He is the Secretary of Association of Coimbatore Anna University Affiliated Self Financing Engineering Colleges and Chairman of ISTE - Tamilnadu and Pondicherry Section.

The department of Master of Business Administration offers a 2 year full-time post graduate degree program MBA, which is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore and approved by AICTE, New Delhi with an intake capacity of 60.

Placement At Excel Business School :
The role of the Placement Cell is of a facilitator and counselor for the placement related activities. Placement Cell does not guarantee a job. Applying for a company or joining a company is entirely the responsibility / decision of the student concerned.
The objective of the placement cell is to provide one job for each student, where in, the facility is available to all the students registered with the placement cell through the policy 'ONE JOB TO ONE STUDENT AT THE FIRST INSTANCE'.
ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA:
All the students expected to be graduated from the institute in the year 2013 shall be eligible to participate in the placement activities 2012-2013. Students graduated in 2012, if not placed, will also be eligible to participate. Their participation is subjected to their registration with the Placement Cell.
The job description along with the eligibility criteria will be displayed on the college website www.excelinstitutions.com, T & P Notice Board and also be forwarded to the students via group email Id or SMS.
The students who have minimum attendance of 75% in both theory and practical in every semester are eligible to sit in the campus interviews. Students below 75% attendance need to take necessary approvals from Director (Training and Placement). Similarly, attendance in ALL Training programs organized by Training & Placement Department should be above 85%. Any failure towards the same will require approval from the Director – (T&P).
