About Dr.Ambedkar Institute of Technology (Dr.AIT)
Dr.Ambedkar Institute of Technology (Dr.AIT) is managed by Panchajanya Vidya Peeta Welfare Trust. The trust is managing a number of educational institutions in Bangalore. Dr. AIT was established in 1980 by Late Sri. M.H.Jayaprakash Narayan. He came from a very humble background and was a member of legislative assembly (MLA) for several terms. He fought relentlessly for the upliftment of the downtrodden. He believed that education is the main path for the emancipation of the oppressed classes and started a number of educational institutions in Bangalore.

Mr. G.P. Manjunath, Selection Grade Lecturer in the department of Civil Engineering, is also the Placement Officer. There is a remarkable rise in the placements done since 2004. Companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL, Siemens, Tata Elexi, MindTree, Accenture, Torry Harris Business Solutions, Caritor, TechMahindra, Sonata, L&T Infotech, Integra, Accord, Mascon, Syntel, Subex, iFlex, Areva T & D and many more other top companies visit our campus to conduct campus interviews. More than 90% of the students have been placed since 2004.

Training for placements is being conducted for the students to take up campus interviews successfully. Infosys Campus Connect training program is conducted in every semester. Industry-Institute Interaction programs are also conducted for the students and faculty of our institution.
