Set up with well-appointed classrooms, accommodation facilities, open air theatre, conference hall and guest house, the School strives for creative excellence in management through holistic development of students. The School also has an FM Radio Station (approved by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India), TV Studio, Animation and Sound Recording facilities and access to all the facilities at KINFRA Park.

The learning and teaching methods used here are varied with the objective of providing high quality management education and enhancing the capabilities of the students. The campus provides the right environment for creating managers, who can take initiative, think innovatively and deal any state of affairs with efficiency.

There are two other management schools under the DCSMAT wing:

DCSMAT Business School
DC School of Management and Technology

The DCSMAT Business School is located in Vagamon, Idukki and offers AICTE approved PGDM programme which is exclusively designed to prepare the students with all the essential skills required in a manager.

DC School of Management and Technology is located adjacent to the Business school and offers two year residential MBA programme approved by the AICTE. The School is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and offers six broad areas for specialization and various add-on courses.

PGDM

The DCSMAT Media School offers two year full time residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) courses. The course is planned in such a way as to assist the students to gain practical knowledge in addition to the theoretical knowledge, prepare them for a suitable career, and develop administrative competence and a managerial personality.

There are six trimesters in all for the two year programme and the average duration of each term is approximately 10-12 weeks. At the end of first year, all students are required to do a summer project on any aspect of Business Management for 8-10 weeks. A letter grade system is made use of for the evaluation of the students' academic performance.

Several learning approaches are made use of at the School, such as classroom sessions, case studies, role-play, problem solving exercises, computer simulation games, project assignments in various organizations, field-based course-specific project work for 10 weeks, discussions and exercises and so on.
