Dr Thammappa Kousali was born on 26th September,1911 to his parent’s Shri Gurusiddappa Shivlingappa Kothambri and Smt Pakiramma Kothambri. Dr Tammappa Kousali is a household name in the field of education in Hubli and Dharwad. He has made great contributions in the development of various educational institutions in twin cities including “KIMS” in Karnatak University, Dharwad, H.S.Kothambri Science College and Gurusiddappa Kothambri Law College, Hubli. Our institute “Kousali Institute of Management Studies” is also named after him to recognize his contribution.
