PGDM Programme (Dual Specialisation)
 
The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two year full time programme. It is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The programme is built upon a trimester system, which provides students a sound understanding of management theory and practice across the range of business management disciplines. The programme is designed to allow students to choose functional areas of Business Management such as Marketing, HR, Finance, Operation Management and IT in their final year of study.
 
PGDM programme attempts to prepare global leaders who create, manage and lead effective change across diverse organizations.
 
Programme Structure
 
In the first year students learn the ability to communicate, analyze situations and take decisions using qualitative and quantitative
factors, develop a holistic view of different functional areas and the business environment besides studying courses in general
management and major functional areas. In the second year the students take elective/operational courses and can specialize in
the functional areas of their choice, with advanced papers on strategic management. The theory papers are supplemented with
case-studies, minor projects, exercises etc. to develop the study to conduct research.
