About Aakson Institute of Management Studies, Bangalore

Aakson Group conceived the idea of setting up a Management Institute catering to the needs of future managers for the benefit of Indian Work Place Requirement. We adhere to the principle “One Word - One World”  laid down by our Chief Mentor & Chair Person, Great Guru  His Holiness Jagatguru Maha Maharishi Paranjothiar  The Aakson Educational Trust was formed and registered  under a Karnataka Government Act.  Aakson has a distinguished Governing Council of eminent personalities from industry and academia and supported by experts from industry on its Advisory Board.

Since professional competence is not available through formal degrees and diplomas provided by various institutions, there exists a vast underemployment amongst the youth of India.  Aakson provides an opportunity for this community of degree and diploma holders to undertake a Profession Management Diploma of four months duration including  two months on-the-job training in their respective areas like Manufacturing, Retailing, Supply Chain, Construction, Marketing and Sales, Banking & Insurance, Projects, Hospitality etc.  These trainees are sought after highly by the respective industries. Industries are benefited by getting ethically trained experts by Aakson.

Eligibility:
Admission to M.B.A course is open for the candidates who have qualified the Bachelor Degree examinations from a recognized University with not less than 50 percent of marks in aggregate, and in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, (and also for students belonging to Category I BC in Karnataka state) the aggregate percentage marks shall not be less than 45 percent and valid score in any of the Common Entrance Exam like CAT, KMAT, MAT etc.
