In the Silicon Valley, the availability of capital resources help trends popularize and commercialize faster than anywhere else in the world. Of all the trends such as Products And Platforms, Big Data and Machine Learning, the sharing economy, the trend of technical teams ruling the valley is one that has perhaps stood the test of time. Many Silicon Valley firms that build value to customers tend to be technical from ground up, and with technology and software, it is easy to create value in the shortest period of time. Technology is difficult to get right and executing speed is often the fine line between success and failure. Technical teams that can execute well will attract and retain more customers and better partners. In addition, the technology-venture capital combo has always ensured success. It has paved way for the Silicon Valley to be the champion in the global economy. In this edition we present a few inspiring stories of Indian entrepreneurs who have taken the industry by storm. The siTech20 2015--the 20 Most Promising Tech Companies in the U.S.--are creating a buzz in the CIO circles and are also moving ahead in the market. It was not a popularity contest, so no voting or attempt by companies to sell themselves to us was allowed; it was an effort by our editorial staff with the help of several VCs, corporate executives, and experienced entrepreneurs to showcase 20 private technology companies in the U.S., which we think are most likely to be the game changers. They are not only great in technology, but also dynamic to bring in business value. We had deep discussions with as many as 100 U.S. based Indian entrepreneurs while producing this issue. The hallmark of all these entrepreneurs is a great passion for their startups and long-term commitment. We wish them all good luck and hope for great success ahead.Hope, you enjoy reading and make the most out of this issue. As usual, please keep your feedback and comments coming.Technology Still Rules the Valley
