Lenovo G Series notebooks
Lenovo has introduced the G Series notebooks, a new range offering mobility, performance, and style for consumers. The G400 features Intel’s Pentium Dual-Core T2080 processor and a 14.1inch WXGA high definition glossy wide screen display, in a sleek silver cover. Operating on DOS, the notebooks are equipped with Lenovo’s high touch full-sized keyboard and the trademark One Key Recovery, which allows users to easily recover data in the event of a crash.

The other features include a 4-in-1 Memory Card reader, a high-speed 56K modem, wireless technology of Lenovo 802.11 bg, and integrated Bluetooth v2.0. G400 is light weight (2.35kg) and has a battery life upto 4 hrs with pre-loaded Energy Cut 2.1 software for effective power management.

Communication and entertainment features include an integrated microphone, Realtek High Definition Audio, and limited edition Power2Go 5.5 multimedia software that allows the user to record various forms of data.

The Lenovo G Series notebooks are available at prices starting from Rs. 31,750.

Genius PF-A01 digital photo frame
Genius, a Taiwan based IT and Consumer Electronics brand, has launched a new digital photo frame, the PF-A01. The frame features a large 10.4 inch high density screen giving a panel ratio of 4:3 and comes in either an oak or walnut finish.

The multimedia features include MP3 music and AVI Motion-JPEG video player. Its internal 128 MB flash memory can store up to 700 images. The PF-A01 digital photo frame increases flexibility by providing support of CF, SD, MMC, MS, MS-Pr, and MD memory cards with USB as host. Other features include, display of pictures in landscape or portrait modes, real-time clock, calendar function, auto photo resizing, and remote control for a different and unforgettable feel. This digital photo frame is available at Rs.13, 999.

ASUS P525 PDA
ASUS has announced the introduction of ASUS P525 quad-band PDA phone in India - a powerful and intelligent mobile solution for the executives. This phone features Push E-mail, Wi-Fi and GPRS support, Bluetooth technology, Skype, and supports office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint Viewer. Users can now stay connected no matter where they are with this accomplished gadget.

The 2M-pixel digital camera with Auto Focus also acts as a business card recognition device. The 5-way joystick enables one-hand menu navigation for accessing and managing the various powerful functions. The 2.8” touch screen display enhances the style for those who are style conscious.

For sensitive information, the P525 offers My Secret. Whether it’s word documents, spreadsheets, videos or photos, users can save them in My Secret files and protect them from unauthorized persons.

The PDA is incorporated with 416MHz Intel Xscale processor; 128MB Flash ROM and 64MB SDRAM for memory; mini SD card slot for expandable memory; 2.8”, 240 x 320 pixels, 65,000 TFT display screen; 1300 mAh Li-ion battery; 2M-pixel camera with auto focus and flash light; WLAN 802.11b, Bluetooth Version 2.0, IrDA (SIR), USB 1.1 for connectivity and Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition.

The phone measures 116.8 x 59 x 19 mm and weighs 159.5 g. It provides 3.5 hours talk time and 150 – 200 hours standby time and comes with a 2.5 mm Audio Jack. ASUS P525 PDA is priced at Rs. 22,490.
