Naidu, a key player in strategizing the growth of Software exports industry, is credited for growing the industry from five million dollars in 1992 to its current ten billion dollars.
Naidu, who was instrumental in bringing in the computer network revolution into project Education Research Network (ERNET) is also credited for setting up the first email and Internet network in the country.
“This shift from being a bureaucrat to an entrepreneur is partly to build the organization and partly to nurture the industry by fostering talent,“ he says.
