The leadership expedition

I owe my strong leadership skills to their acceptance of my leadership,” says Srikanth, now enjoying his new post as Executive Vice President & Group Chief Financial Officer at Polaris Software.

His fascination with numbers took him places, literally, as he traveled extensively honing his financial as well as leadership abilities. After getting into Future Software in 1992, he later shifted to Wipro BPO Solutions, as the Associate Chief Operating officer. “The opportunity I got at Future Software was a big step in my career as IT was a relatively new domain at that time,” he says.

A member in the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, Srikanth is particular about being a ‘team-player’ ability while building individual skills. His colleagues feel he is sharp at skill recognition and mind reading.

A consistent yoga practitioner, Srikanth deems it is not about how much pressure you handle, but with how much pragmatism you handle anything that stands out at the end of the day. He shares a deep passion towards studying ancient Indian culture and interior designing.
