Not falling into the conventional “old and experienced” manger category does not deter Vishnu Raned from knowing the game of business. Advancing into Agitar Software with seven years of experience in IT products and services sales, Raned believes a good product always pieces the puzzle.

Starting his career as a developer of systems software, Raned was a consultant at Accenture in Germany. He moved to India in 2003 and though it was logical to join Accenture, India, he went ahead with his instincts tracing a completely different path at IBM Rational.

Dealing with people has always been challenging for this young manager. Terming people management a ‘business’, Raned adds that his days at Accenture taught him the change in mindset from a development background to a more customer management perspective. “You work with people, for the people, so at the end of the day, it’s all about people.”

Responsible for all aspects and functions of Agitar’s business in the region, Raned is hopeful of helping the company grow while growing himself.
