Punit Renjen named the next Deloitte Global CEO

Punit Renjen, has been appointed as the next CEO of the accounting giant Deloitte Global. He is the first from the Indian-origin to head one of the Big Four audit firms. He would be serving the office from 1 June, 2015, the beginning of the financial year. Deloitte is one of the 'Big Four' largest audit firms in the world, others being PwC, KPMG and EY. The company operates across 150 countries, including India, with more than two lac employees. Renjen holds a master's degree in management from Willamette University, U.S. Renjen serves now as a member of the board of directors of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited.
