Mending Challenges
ST Team
Friday, September 1, 2006
Versatility and passion are my children,” says Dilip Khandekar of his success mantra in his career. His recent appointment as Director of Engineering, Ensim India has only reinforced his philosophy of accomplishment- “Any problem is a challenge waiting to be mended.”

He believes that to grow, one has to be resourceful and fervent of their work and make it their own child. He has always had a fixed policy towards mentorship. “Being a true leader would not only mean that you train your team but also appoint a successor to take it ahead. This way you delegate your responsibility and you personally have the chance to move ahead in your career ladder,” he articulates.

A veteran of the software industry with experience in designing and building cutting-edge software products, Khandekar was at VMware in Palo Alto, California, prior to Ensim. In his present post, Khandekar will be responsible for the development of the company’s entire Web and data hosting line of products. He is an avid reader and adherent of the globalization concepts brought out Thomas Friedman’s “The World is Flat.”
