Indian classical music lover Kannan Ramaswamy has launched his own company Ambletek Solutions focused on the financial services sector.

Having had stints at LogicaCMG, HCL Technologies, NIIT, IBM, and Satyam in the past 20 years, Ramaswamy notes, “Over the years I have learnt how to juggle the different roles through working on different projects in different companies.”

What makes him a black swan is his ability to communicate with customers, the team and the board at the same time. He believes that the businesses should not be lost even for a day. This strategy is behind him adopting the inorganic growth model—he acquired a Bangalore based firm—in building his company. Headquartered in Bangalore, Ambletek has also expanded to Chennai and will shortly be opening a facility in Mumbai. He is also considering investing on an off shore development facility and testing centre for financial services products.

This canny businessman believes that being focused in the field all the time will help stretch the abilities and reach the goal.
