Otellini said, “India will play a key role in designing and developing computing technologies used worldwide, under Intel’s World Ahead Program.”
Otellini said Intel has committed to an investment of over $1 billion towards the World Ahead Program, and that India is one of the key countries to be covered by this program.
As part of the World Ahead Program, Intel plans to enhance its research and development facilities, venture capital activities, as also its education and community programs in the country in the next five years.
