Continuing the expansion of its leadership team, Hexaware has appointed Rajiv Pant as President, North America. With over 18 years of sales and business development experience in the IT industry, Pant joins Hexaware from Wipro Technologies where over the last ten years he led various roles of increasing business responsibility in the U.S. In his last assignment, he was Vice President, Enterprise Solutions, managing a business of about half a billion. Prior to that he ran Wipro’s Eastern Seaboard operations and its Enterprise Application Services practice in the West coast. Under his leadership, the company won many multi million dollar deals and acquired several marquee customers over the years. For this achievement, his team had won the ‘All Star’ award in 2004-05. Before joining Wipro he was a Channel Manager at Microsoft and Apple Computer. At Hexaware, he is responsible for the North America operations and Hexaware’s PeopleSoft business globally. “I will be accountable for both sales and account management teams as well as the delivery teams of North America’s strategic account,” explains Pant.

Looking back at his career he says that hard work, perseverance, and teamwork have been the key to his success. With Olympics round the corner, he derives his inspiration to achieve more from the Olympic motto ‘Citius, Altius, Fortius’ which means ‘faster, higher, and stronger’.
