Global Talent Metrics (GTM) has recently appointed Ranjan Sinha to its Board of Directors. A veteran HR professional and thought leader, Sinha has over 20 years of experience and has founded and directed a number of service and technology companies in the area of human resources, healthcare services, email and marketing services. Most recently, he co-founded Summit HR with the vision of helping CEOs and their teams successfully combat a myriad of external and internal challenges, such as the need to improve both the supply and quality of talent, reduce unwanted turnover, and help “win the war” for talent. Based in the U.S., in his role as an advisor at GTM, he hopes to be able to provide guidance to the company in penetrating the market and set up research and development practices.

A B.Tech. from IIT-Roorkee, Sinha holds a Master’s Degree from the Wharton School of Business as well as an MBA from IIM, Bangalore. HRO Today Magazine has recognized Sinha as “HR Outsourcing Superstar” for two consecutive years for his contributions to the HR Industry. He believes that many young professional in their early years of career get too caught up in their work and do not network outside their peer group. This eventually becomes a drawback when they move into higher positions.

Though most of his time is consumed traveling between India and the U.S., in leisure Sinha loves skiing with his kids and ardently practices yoga. He also has a keen interest in wines.
