Driving a Sustainable Business

France based Dassault Systèmes (DS) has appointed Andy Kalambi as the President for its India operations. A mechanical engineer from Delhi University, Kalambi had started his IT journey 25 years back and in the course has held key positions at several major companies like BHEL, SAP India and MatrixOne across India, U.S, Singapore and Japan. Incidentally, he was the first employee for SAP in India and had played a vital role in establishing the company’s operations in the country. During his time in India, he introduced ERP to the local market.

He joined DS in 2006 after it acquired MatrixOne. Till now he had been heading the company’s ENOVIA business in the APAC region including Japan. In his current role, Andy Kalambi will represent DS in India and lead the team to provide world- leading products and services to support local customers in driving sustainable business. He would be responsible for driving business strategy through the sales, marketing and services organizations within DS India to ensure comprehensive support to local customers.

Kalambi who will now lead 1500 people in India believes in leading by example. “A leader must demonstrate a clear vision and work towards taking the organization to the next level of growth,” he says. A passionate environmentalist, Kalambi leads a low carbon lifestyle and involves himself in several environmental initiatives. Even with in the company he drives a sustainability initiative. Apart from that he enjoys traveling and music in leisure.
