BenQ has introduced its new Joybook Lite U101 netbook. Consisting of a 10.1 inch 16:9 wide LED backlight screen, 160 GB storage capacity, 1.3 megapixel webcam, and built-in speakers, Joybook Lite U101 weighs only 1.1 kg and provides a power backup of 7.2 hours. BenQ U101 also claims to be an ideal mobility solution for traveling individuals and users who cherish sporting a 'stylish Internet-surfing device' that is ultra-portable and has a longer battery life.

Its other features include 200nits light-emitting-diode(LED) backlight display panel with 8 ms fast responding time and faceplates embellished with emoticons on a scratch-free, In-MoldRoller (IMR) cover. The BenQ Joybook Lite U101 will hit he markets in the first quarter of 2009 and will cost Rs. 28,000.
