The 11th edition of Karnataka’s premier IT event BangaloreIT.in will be held at Palace Grounds from 6th to 8th of November this year with a new name - BangaloreIT.biz. Being hosted by the Government of Karnataka and STPI Bangalore, the event would focus on creating a B2B platform for the industry to promote partnerships between leading players in the domestic and international markets.

The three day conference would discuss about the emerging opportunities for ICT in Green Technologies, IT Manufacturing, e-security, e-governance, health care, education, and rural IT policy. Two main subjects have been taken up for discussions – IT in the Nation’s Internal Security and the Role of IT in Sports.
The organizers have roped in India Semiconductor Association (ISA) and Manufacturer’s Association for Information Technology (MAIT) as partners.

During the launch of the event, Infosys Technologies’ Chairman N. R. Narayana Murthy said, “The Indian IT sector is flourishing and BangaloreIT.biz will definitely play a crucial role in nurturing that growth by giving the industry a platform for collaborations and partnerships.”
