After the recent acquisition by HP, the leadership team at EDS has been undergoing significant changes. MphasiS, an EDS company, has recently had three new appointments. Dinesh Venugopal, who has over 15 years of experience in building industry leading Enterprise Software Products, has taken over as the Head of Technology Development & IP Strategy at MphasiS. Venugopal was earlier the R&D head at BMC Software, for its Remedy ITSM Product Suite business. Prior to that, he was the Director of Engineering at Marimba. In his new role he will lead the development of innovative, industry leading solution offerings by the company to build solutions that take full advantage of emerging technology trends and new delivery models. His greatest challenge at present would be driving innovation at the grass roots level. Though totally driven by technology, Venugopal aims at aligning business skills along with technology. “Technology helps in invention but it’s business that drives innovation,” he says. Apart from spending time with his family, outside work, he loves reading books, especially nonfiction and travel books.

With over 28 years of experience in global IT and consulting industry, he joins MphasiS from Perot Systems, where he was the COO & VP-Global Delivery for the Applications Solutions business. Prior to that, he was the Director - GDAS for HP Globalsoft. A very people oriented person, people management comes to him naturally and working in multiple cultures has only sharpened those skills. Quite easy to approach, Padmanabhan is a strong believer in work ethics, hard work, and leading by example. In leisure, he immensely enjoys hiking and is a nature lover. He also has a deep passion for music and books.

P.A. Krishnan has been appointed as President of the Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing Business Unit. In this role, Krishnan will help MphasiS focus on continued growth in the ITO tower and look at growing both capacity and capability. Prior to joining MphasiS, Krishnan was with Siemens where he was Senior VP, managing Global Infrastructure Operations and Internal Sales for the Siemens Group. Krishnan has worked with other leading companies like NCR, IBM, Onward Technologies, and HCL & Nelco. He brings over 25 years of rich and varied experience in successfully managing Business P&L, Strategy, Sales, Services, Manufacturing, and Acquisitions. Krishnan has over six years of specialization in the Managed Infrastructure Services and Outsourcing space. He has managed and successfully grown this business in his previous stints with IBM, NCR, and Siemens.
