Saama Raises $35 Million in Its First Ever Funding Round

Saama, founded in 1997 and a provider of Big Data solutions and service announced that they have raised $35 million in Series A founding round. The funding was done by Carrick Capital Partners, an investment company which focuses on technology - enabled - service based businesses. The highlight being is that this has been Saama\'s first institutional capital since its inception. This financing will be projected towards addressing the demand for Global 2000 companies for deployment of industry specific analytics solutions. \"The critical business problem companies need to solve in deploying analytics is not about technology platforms, it\'s about designing a complete analytics value chain that can deliver concept-to-action-to-value within an effective performance period.
