Delivering performance beyond boundaries Date:   Friday , February 29, 2008 Balu Doraisamy, who until recently served as MD of HP India, has packed his bags to Singapore where he will take over as the MD for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) operations and Senior VP for Technology Solutions Group (TSG) of HP. Early in his career, Doraisamy started as the Senior Consultant with Digital Equipment. Compaq took over the company and Doraisamy assumed a new position as the MD of Compaq Computer, India, where he led the company to the number one IT vendor position in the domestic market. Later he joined HP when Compaq merged with HP in 2002. He has served HP under various capacities where he and his team have driven various key programs in India that have accelerated growth and delivered outstanding performance for the company. Under his leadership, HP was named the best multinational IT company in India for five consecutive years. In his new role, Doraisamy will continue to focus on creating value for the customers and profitable growth for HP. Doraisamy is a postgraduate in computer science and mathematics.
