He began his career at Digital Equipment Corporation as a principal engineer, where he worked on chip and systems development. Latest vacation: "My wife and I went to Paris, France. We stayed at the Inter Continental Hotel across from the Louvre. We loved the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay, Paris at night during dinner on the Seine, views from atop the Eiffel tower, shopping on the Champs-Elysees, and those wonderful pastry shops. We really enjoyed walking and exploring the galleries, shops and cafes." Favorite vacation spot: "My favorite spot is Maui and my favorite place to stay there is the Grand Wilea Resort. It's like being in heaven. Everything there is perfect, the beaches, the people, the food and the golf." What he drives: "I drive a Mercedes E320. This was a car I always wanted when I was growing up. I like the prestige of Mercedes and the performance is not so bad either." Wishes he could drive: "A Porsche 911 Carrera."
