Learning continuously Date:   Friday , February 29, 2008 The newly appointed VP and MD of Unisys Global Services India (USGI), Kumar Prabhas, is an engineering graduate from IIT-Kanpur who started his IT career with a startup company - Multitech. He then joined Wipro and later Sasken Communication Technologies. After a seven year stint at Sasken he moved on to lead ConnectM Technologies Solutions, a joint venture between Sasken and IDG Ventures. Now at USGI he will also assume the role of Country Manager and steer a team of about 2,300. Maintaining the current growth rate and taking the company to the next level of leadership is the daunting task he faces at the moment. Quite a people’s person, Prabhas loves communicating with people at all levels and believes in adding value to the organization by learning continuously. Honesty, sincerity towards work, and a zeal to learn continuously are the strengths that he plays on, and he advises the same to young professionals. Though a passive theater person, Prabhas in leisure loves to spend most of the time with his family, especially his seven-year-old son.
