Rajesh Alla, Chairman & MD

Rajesh, founder of IIC Technologies, is an engineer with 30+ years of rich experience in the geospatial industry and document conversion industry. Graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University- a premier institute for Artificial Intelligence research and worked in the Robotics Institute. He is one of the pioneers of Automated Digitizing and Recognition of hard copy documents in the Conversion industry. Rajesh has developed numerous Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence Algorithms for automated vectorization and feature attribution of contours, point symbol recognition and text identification. One of the founders of Audre, Inc., an American firm and a world leader in Automated Document Conversion Systems development, he was instrumental in developing the e-Learning module known as Merit Scholar a prototype for ENC Tutor. Nominated as one of the members on the IHO Data Protection Scheme Advisory Group (DPSAG) from the industry side, he is also an advisor to GEOMAP Society, India, which brings out the GIS India publication. Rajesh is also a Committee member of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), U.S.A and Raster Image File Format (CALS) standards.
