Delivering Channel Strategies Date:   Wednesday , December 31, 2008 Shrihari Bhat has taken over as the Senior VP and Country Manager (India) of Fidelity National Information Services (FIS). Prior to joining FIS, Bhat was with First Data Corporation and before that with NCR. In both the companies he was responsible for developing and implementing their strategies in the Indian market. He has deep experience in the payments industry, having worked with large banks to implement their delivery channel strategies and improve upon their customer acquisition and services practices. He brings to FIS his deep domain knowledge of this business, especially merchant alliance programs and ATM services, having worked closely with the Reserve Bank of India and similar central banks in South East Asia. In his role with FIS, Shrihari will be responsible for growing the company’s business in the region, heading sales, professional services, and operations.
