Employer: Rass Technologies Designation: Project Engineer Experience: 4 yrs 4 months
ST: What is your job there? SS: I am into hardware design. Designing military and avionics products and handling projects. This involves component selection, analog and digital design, PCB guidelines for CAD designers, signal integrity, and testing.
ST: What do you like about your job? SS: Complete design cycle from specifications to product development. The most interesting part is providing immediate solutions to design problems.
ST: What do you find challenging about your job? SS: Signal analysis, debugging, and hardware testing are really challenging.
ST: What have you found that makes your job easier? SS: There’s a saying: If I had eight hours to chop a tree I would spend six hours sharpening my axe. In hardware design, if basics are clear, the design and testing become much easier and the product is delivered in time. I strictly follow the design schedules and avoid deferring the work.
ST: What are your hobbies? SS: Writing articles, poems, and listening to music. |
