People of Lava Launch World's First Android TV Date:   Thursday , May 06, 2010 Sweden's People of Lava has beaten everyone in the chase to launch the world's first fully interactive Internet TV ‘Scandinavia’. The TV features full-HD LED display and a fully integrated Android platform. The Scandinavia Android TV will first be released in a 42" version, followed by 47", and 55" versions. The Android platform and the Internet capabilities provide applications such as YouTube, Google Maps, Weather, Time, Calendar, and Internet browser. The TV provides access to social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter and let you send email as well. The price of the Scandinavia 42" will be between Rs. 1,20,000 and 1,50,000 at the global sales-start in September this year.
